What are the responsibilities and job description for the DENTAL ASSISTANT position at CENTRAL VIRGINIA HEALTH SERV?
To maintain efficiency of the dental department through proper patient flow and business transactions. Prepare the patient for the dentist, sterilize or disinfect instruments, set up instrument trays, prepare materials, or assist dentist during dental procedures. This position also records treatment information in patient records and expose dental diagnostic x-rays. The dental assistant is also responsible for confirming that all administrative have been completed by the patient. The position requires a radiation safety certificate. New increased salary rates.
