What are the responsibilities and job description for the Lab Assistant position at Central Vermont Career Center School District?
This Career Technical Education (CTE) Lab Assistant will primarily support the Early Childhood Education Program at the Central Vermont Career Center. This position is flexible and may be filled as either part-time or full-time, depending on candidate availability and program needs.This is a school-year position working five days per week during student program hours. A part-time schedule is approximately 8:00 AM 1:00 PM (approximately 25 hours per week), while a full-time schedule may extend to approximately 7:30 AM 3:00 PM (approximately 37.5 hours per week).Three days each week will be dedicated to supporting the Early Childhood Education Program, with the remaining days assisting other CTE programs as needed.CTE Lab Assistant is responsible for supporting students and program instructors within the classrooms and labs at the Technical Center by performing a variety of supportive activities within a diverse population of students. Under the technical direction of one or more members of the faculty, provides assistance to students involved in technical or work based learning settings designed to further their knowledge in a specific discipline.
