What are the responsibilities and job description for the Elevator Superintendent position at Central Valley Ag?
As an Elevator Superintendent at Central Valley Ag, you will be responsible for proper grain storage, conditioning, blending, loading, unloading and practicing good housekeeping practices.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Helps ensure that all location facilities and equipment meet all Federal, State and OSHA regulations.
Performs grain receiving, sampling and grading.
Assures proper grain storage and condition.
Efficiently operates grain dryer.
Responsible for completing by-monthly grain inventories and reconciling variances.
Blends grain for proper loading.
Maintains good housekeeping to reduce chance of fire or dust collection.
Greets and assists customers in a professional and courteous manner.
Performs general maintenance duties involving location property, facilities and equipment.
Plans, assigns and directs work of subordinates.
Completes performance appraisals, rewards employees, disciplines employees, addresses complaints and resolves employee problems in conjunction with the division heads.
Other duties as assigned.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND KNOWLEDG
E
High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
One to two years' experience in a related field required. Proven history of delivery of results required.
