Field Superintendent Underground Utility

Overview
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Supervisor to lead our team in Underground Fiber Optic Install. Looking for high-quality service and support in the field. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and experience with Directional Drill operation. Must have Experience in this field and good references

. As a Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, ensuring safety standards are met, and providing guidance to technicians in the field.

Duties

• Supervise and coordinate the activities to ensure efficient operations.
• Current project is starting in Batavia Il and surrounding towns
• Full Season work with weather related days
• Conduct regular inspections of equipment and work sites to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Schedule all work and conduct checks that work is completed on time.
• Provide training and support to team members on best practices for installation and maintenance.
• Communicate effectively with clients via telephone and telecommunication systems to address service needs.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed Must have Computer experience tracking work, and effective communication with customer and management team
• Collaborate with management to develop strategies for improving service delivery and operational efficiency.
• Operate Experience is required operating Vermeer drills, locating, calling in services, setting handholes, fiber install and small equipment
• Must have a clean driving record CDL preferred

Requirements

• Proven experience as a General Foreman or Superintendent
• or in a similar role within the telecommunications industry.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience using various tools and equipment.
• Experience with mapping
• Experience white lining and calling locates in and understanding Julie law
• Experience projecting work ahead to move forward
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to telecommunicate effectively.
• Computer experience generating reports
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on delivering high-quality service.
• CDL is a plus

Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour
