A well-established organization in Georgetown, Texas, is seeking an experienced Automotive Title Clerk to join its accounting department. This position is responsible for processing vehicle titles and registrations, reviewing vehicle transaction documentation, handling lien payoffs, and ensuring all required state documentation is completed accurately and on time.

Responsibilities
- Process new and pre-owned vehicle titles and registrations.
- Review vehicle transaction documents for accuracy and completeness.
- Complete and submit required state title and registration forms.
- Calculate and disburse applicable taxes, title fees, and registration fees.
- Process title transfers and maintain accurate title records.
- Track incoming, missing, and outstanding titles.
- Maintain and reconcile tax, title, license, and lien-payoff schedules.
- Process trade-in and inventory financing payoffs.
- Verify finance documentation against completed transaction records.
- Contact financial institutions and customers regarding missing documentation.
- Prepare and process certificates of origin.
- Process vehicle warranty and extended-service-contract documentation.
- Assist with dealer trade documentation when needed.
- Identify discrepancies and communicate concerns to accounting management.
- Provide additional accounting department support as assigned.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous automotive title experience strongly preferred.
- Knowledge of Texas vehicle title and registration procedures preferred.
- CDK, ADP, or comparable dealership management system experience is a plus.
- Comfortable using a 10-key calculator and standard office software.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage deadlines and follow up consistently on outstanding items.
- Professional written and verbal communication skills.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
- Must successfully complete applicable pre-employment screening.
Schedule
This is a full-time, in-person position located in Georgetown, Texas. A consistent and reliable work schedule is required.
