Entry Level Technician – Starting at $18.00/hr
Ideal for candidates with:

Skilled Technician – $21.00–$26.00/hr For applicants with experience in:
- CCTV installation (analog & IP)
- Access control hardware
- Structured cabling (pulling, terminating, testing Cat5e/Cat6/Cat6A)
- Reading blueprints and wiring diagrams
- Using voltmeters and diagnostic tools
- Basic networking (IP addressing, PoE, device configuration)
Note: Final compensation is based on verified experience, technical skills, and certifications.
About the Role
Central Technologies, Inc. is a leading Technology Solutions Provider serving Education, Government, and Corporate clients. We are looking for an Installation Technician who enjoys hands‑on technical work, problem‑solving, and working on diverse AV and security system projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair security systems following manufacturer specifications
- Perform system testing and ensure proper functionality
- Troubleshoot issues and complete service repairs
- Use voltmeters and diagnostic tools for electrical testing
- Provide technical support to customers on system functionality
- Collaborate with team members to complete installations efficiently
- Install AV systems including projectors, screens, interactive panels, audio systems, and racks
- Install and program analog and digital camera systems
- Install and program access control systems
- Perform structured cabling (pulling, terminating, labeling, and testing cable)
- Work in challenging environments: ladders, lifts, crawl spaces, ceiling spaces
- Complete projects on time and within budget
- Follow industry standards and approved installation practices
Desired Skills
- Low voltage installation experience
- Access control installation and configuration
- CCTV installation, wiring, and programming
- Ability to read blueprints and schematics
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
