POSITION: Welding Instructor – 30 hours per week Evenings (4pm – 10pm) or as assigned
CAMPUS: Sapulpa Campus
PRIMARY FUNCTION: To provide effective instruction in Welding Certifications necessary to prepare students for employment in business and industry.
RESPONSIBLE TO: ACD Coordinator
SKILLS REQUIRED: Must be proficient in lay-out and fit-up, blueprint reading (structural and isometrics); codes and specifications; destructive and non-destructive testing and processes (radiography, magnetic particle, dye penetrate, ultrasonic). Ability to organize and deliver curriculum that meets industry standards.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Three years of industry experience within the last five years in welding processes (SMAW, GMAW, FCAW, GTAW, OFC), plasma arc cutting and alloys (carbon, stainless steel, and aluminum). Experience in field construction and manufacturing, shop safety and supervision.
EDUCATION: HS diploma or GED required; Associate degree or technical certificate; AWS certified welding inspection certificate preferred.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS: Must possess and maintain a valid Oklahoma driver’s license.
STARTING DATE: April 21, 2026
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: 12-month contract – Certified/Exempt
