ASSISTANT SUPERINTENDENT FOR INSTRUCTION

POSITION: Assistant Superintendent for Instruction

CAMPUS: Districtwide

PRIMARY FUNCTION: Responsible for providing leadership, supervision and coordination of activities related to the Central Tech District and the following programs, instructors, administrators and staff: Fulltime instruction programs on the Drumright & Sapulpa Campuses, Partner School Extension Explorer Programs, Instructional Services, Special Projects, and planning.

RESPONSIBLE TO: Superintendent

SKILLS REQUIRED: Administrative, interpersonal and organizational skills. Ability to maintain accurate records and files. Ability to work with administrators, faculty and staff in a positive manner. Ability to project a high degree of professionalism. Good communication skills, both oral and written. Strong leadership and supervisory skills with an excellent knowledge of Effective Teaching Criteria.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Minimum of ten years education/teaching experience, and three years administrative experience.

EDUCATION: Master’s Degree

OTHER REQUIREMENTS: Knowledge of career and technology education, school policies and procedures. Must be able to work extended hours and additional days/evenings as required by position responsibilities. Must possess and maintain a valid Oklahoma driver’s license.

STARTING DATE: July 1, 2026

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: 12-month contract – Certified/Exempt
