Provides special project assistance for the Vice President of Administration and Finance including the development of special projects, analysis, and management of statistical reports for University stakeholders, as well as other data required by any outside agency or authority.

- Serve as primary point-of-contact for the Vice President of Administration and Finance.
- Act as liaison between the University and outside entities; work closely with divisional department directors and staff to enhance their efficiency and effectiveness; initiate and provide input on issues affecting division functions.
- Administers and coordinates special projects as assigned.
- Manages budget, requisitions, and processing for the departments under the Administration and Finance division.
- Serves as key contact for Accounts Payable, Purchasing and the Budget Office. Assists with keeping the Vice President advised of balances and deadlines for all purchase orders and expenditures.
- Provides administrative support for the Vice President. Use critical thinking skills in anticipation of the Vice President’s daily schedule to ensure time management and prepared materials for each meeting.
- Creates visual workflows and manuals to document office management processes.
- Manages correspondence and appointment scheduling for the Vice President of Administration and Finance, including providing appropriate documentation, files, etc., pertinent to each appointment.
- Compose correspondence on topics within the scope of the position and on behalf of the Vice President of Administration and Finance.
- Compiles presentations and coordinates meeting/presentation arrangements and requirements
- Responsible for front office operations; greets and directs visitors; responds to inquiries regarding Administration and Finance division procedures and policies from staff, students, visitors.
- May represent the CFO, as required.

- Previous administration experience

- Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office
Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university
At least one year of responsible support experience

Experience in a higher education environment
