What are the responsibilities and job description for the Veterinarian position at Central Spay Neuter and Wellness Clinic?
Central Spay Neuter and Wellness Clinic is looking for a veterinarian to join our team (either part time or full time) and help us to keep providing excellent low cost services to our community. We have been open for over 20 years and the need for our services is always growing. We work with the public, local rescues, and shelters. We offer fast paced wellness clinics to provide clients with vaccines, exams and basic treatment for their pets. We are currently searching for a doctor that is willing to work wellness clinics AND be a spay/neuter surgeon or would rather do one or the other and we can have multiple. We are looking to grow our programs and help the community and its beloved pets as much as possible.
We are open Monday-Thursday with work days that run approximately 8:30am - 4:30pm. Great perk is a 3-day weekend off! We are looking for an individual that is a team player. We would love to add a doctor or doctors to our team that will take us to the next level of care for our wonderful clients who truly appreciate the quick but thorough service that we provide. We have an exam room along with other areas set up for vaccine clinic to keep a flow that delivers just that. We also have 3 surgery prep tables and 2 surgery tables for spay/neuter.
Must have a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or related degree from an accredited university, a State of North Carolina License and in good standing to practice in the state of North Carolina. Pay rate is comparable to general practices.
