Effectively and efficiently provide management at the school site Perform supervision and evaluation of certificated and classified staff members Serve as a resource to site and district personnel, students and parents concerning education and behavior Implement management intervention strategies and techniques Communicate effectively in oral and written form Establish and maintain effective organizational and community relationships Understand and carry out oral and written directions with minimal accountability controls EXAMPLES OF DUTIES. . . Serve as the instructional leader and operational manager of an elementary school facility Screen, select, direct and evaluate performance of certificated and classified staff members Supervise and manage site operation to assure safety and efficiency Administer a balanced budget and operate a school under decentralized management system Accountable for student attendance, behavior management, counseling, guidance and other support services Prepare and write correspondence, bulletins and other communications on behalf of the school Enforce applicable State and District codes, policies and laws Work closely with the school staff and school site council in identifying educational and instructional needs
