Our team is seeking an Electrical Authority Having Jurisdiction (AHJ) who will have responsibilities in the following areas:

In accordance with the CPCCo salary determination process, CPCCo takes into consideration the level of assigned job duties and responsibilities, and the candidate's education, training, and/or experience relative to internal peers and the external labor market. Our team is seeking an Electrical Authority Having Jurisdiction (AHJ) who will have responsibilities in the following areas:
- Interpretive Authority for NFPA 70 (NEC).
- Interpretive Authority for NFPA 70E (Electrical Safety).
- Interpretive Authority for DOE-0369 Hanford Site Electrical Safety Program (HSESP.)
- Recommend, plan and implement Company policy in order to establish and maintain a safe work environment; and ensure compliance with appropriate federal and state safety and health regulations.
- Interfacing with NEC Inspectors.
- Interfacing with DOE oversight to ensure appropriate and timely communication of electrical issues, status, corrective actions and activities.
- Responsible for performing Electrical Risk Assessment Preparer Qualifications.
- Responsible for Evaluating Non-NRTL Equipment (Accepting/Rejecting).
- Responsible for SKM software (Access, V&V approval, and Service Contract).
- Interface with and support CPCCo Chief Engineer, Project Directors, Project Engineers and project organizations with electrical engineering and electrical safety.
- Career Grade 21: Bachelor's of Science degree in electrical engineering or related engineering discipline with 12 or more years of relevant experience.
- Career Level Grade 22: Bachelor's of Science degree in electrical engineering or related engineering discipline with 14 or more years of relevant experience.
Desired Qualifications
- Demonstrated ability to interpret requirements including 29 CFR 1910, 29 CFR 1926, NFPA 70 (NEC), NFPA 70E, Department of Energy Orders, Standards and Guides, and other national consensus codes and standards.
- Previous Hanford experience.
- Previous Department of Energy experience.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Professional Engineering License.
- Extensive experience working in a multi-discipline engineering environment with engineering processes and procedures.

- Grade 21: $123,500 - $197,650
- Grade 22: $134,200 - $234,850
- Grade 21: $126,200 - $202,000
- Grade 22: $137,150 - $240,000
