Industrial Plant Mechanic – Full-Time
Location: Tulsa Oklahoma
Pay: $38.74/hour
Overview:
Central Plains Cement Company is seeking a skilled Industrial Plant Mechanic to join our maintenance team. This position is responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining industrial machinery and equipment in a production environment. Ideal candidates will have strong mechanical aptitude, millwright experience, and a self-starting attitude.
Key Responsibilities:

Maintain and repair industrial processing and production equipment

Troubleshoot mechanical malfunctions using voltmeters and testing tools

Disassemble machinery and replace defective parts

Perform scheduled preventive maintenance

Reassemble and test machinery to confirm successful repairs

Read blueprints and technical manuals for accurate installation and repairs

Weld and fabricate parts when necessary

Maintain records of maintenance, repairs, and parts used

Support operators with equipment function training when needed
Requirements:

Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Maintenance Mechanic or Millwright

Journeyman-level experience preferred

Ability to work independently and troubleshoot effectively

Strong understanding of mechanical systems, fabrication, and industrial tools
