General Function
Plans, administers and monitors a wide variety of exams to support Central Piedmont Community College students, faculty, staff and Charlotte-Mecklenburg community and surrounding areas
Duties and Responsibilities
1. Monitors and facilitates testing activities; enforces rules and regulations and ensures safe environment.
2. Prepares facility for testing and ensures that work areas are clean and neat; ensures that appropriate equipment, materials, and handouts are laid out for testing sessions.
3. Assists in maintaining testing equipment; performs simple maintenance, cleans and stores equipment when not in use, monitors condition, and notifies supervisor of any needed repairs.
4. Supports supervisor in monitoring activities of part-time staff.
5. Maintains records of testing activities and attendance.
6. Retrieve and records test scores in various databases.
7. Research students records and student data to create accurate testing sessions.
8. Supports supervisor with weekly testing reports.
9. Travels to and from community sites with equipment to facilitate placement and progress tests.
10. Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements and Preferred Qualifications
Associate degree and two years of related work experience

Reporting Relationships:
Direction Received: Reports to Associate Dean, Testing and Assessment
Direction Given: May be responsible for monitoring of work of assigned staff.

Working Conditions:
Typical lab environment.
Requires travel to and from testing sites.
Monday through Friday, some evenings may be required.
