GENERAL FUNCTIONS AND JOB DUTIES
The Mission of the Testing Center is to enhance the student learning process by providing comprehensive testing services to Central Piedmont students, local businesses and industries, and the Charlotte-Mecklenburg community and surrounding areas.
Anticipated hiring date: April 2023
Work Schedule: Monday - Friday and evenings
Hours per week: up to 28
General Function
Plans, administers and monitors a wide variety of exams to support Central Piedmont Community College students, faculty, staff and Charlotte-Mecklenburg community and surrounding areas.
Characteristic Duties and Responsibilities
1. Monitors testing activities; enforces rules and regulations and ensures safe environment.
2. Prepares facility for testing and ensures that work areas are clean and neat; ensures that appropriate equipment, materials, and handouts are laid out for testing sessions.
4. Assists in maintaining testing equipment; performs simple maintenance, cleans and stores equipment when not in use, monitors condition, and notifies supervisor of any needed repairs.
5. Monitors inventory of materials and supplies.
6. Researches and evaluates new equipment, and makes recommendations regarding purchase decisions.
7. Monitors activities of part-time staff.
9. Maintains records of testing activities and attendance
10. Retrieve and records test scores in various databases
11. Produces weekly testing report for supervisor.
12. Performs other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Associate degree and two years of related work experience

CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT
Salary for this position is $15.00. Classification type is Classified. Ability to work a flexible schedule, which may include off-shift hours, evening and weekend assignments may be required of any position. All positions are subject to budget approval.
