What are the responsibilities and job description for the Part Time CMPD/MCSO Off-duty police position at Central Piedmont Community College?
General Function
Provide a visible uniformed police presence on campus, protecting persons and property.
Duties and Responsibilities
Respond to calls for service from Central Piedmont and CMPD dispatch related to the campus.
Document offenses appropriately in campus and CMPD reporting systems.
Enforce applicable North Carolina laws and city ordinances.
Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements and Preferred Qualifications
A sworn law enforcement officer with CMPD or MCSO.
Preferred Requirements:
- Three years of sworn law enforcement experience with CMPD or MCSO.
