Cen-Pe-Co also custom manufactures and markets Columbia Industrial Paints and Roof Coatings for wood, masonry, and metal surfaces.
Job Description
Our company is in need of a reliable, entry level, Order Entry Clerk to join our team. As an Order Entry Clerk, you will be responsible for receiving orders from salespeople, recording data in our computer system, and filing order related paperwork in our filing system. The overall goal of this position will be to aid in the order process and ensure orders are fulfilled correctly and smoothly. To be successful in this role, we are looking for someone who can communicate well both verbally and in writing, has excellent attention to detail and is highly organized.
Responsibilities:
- Relay customer data to computer system by inputting text and numerical based information from source documents
- Review all data and customer orders for errors
- File and organize order and customer related paperwork
- Ensure proper use of office equipment and address any malfunctions
Requirements and Skills:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Familiarity with administrative duties
- Knowledge of office computer systems and software
- Strong computer skills
- Experience using common office equipment such as fax machines and printers
- Typing accuracy
- Strong attention to detail
- Organizational skills with ability to stay focused and on task
- Ability to think analytically
