As discussed below, CPF is embarking on a multi-year technological and organizational business transformation project to enhance and improve the services it provides to participants, retirees, and their families.
Role Description
This is a Temporary full-time, on-site Junior Business Analyst role located in Washington, DC. The Business Analyst will be responsible for analyzing business processes, gathering and documenting business requirements, and collaborating with stakeholders. This role will support a large, Agile multi-year enterprise software implementation effort that includes development, and deployment of a new pension administration system, data cleansing and migration activities. The successful candidate will have a strong business background in combination with enterprise software implementation knowledge.
This position will be heavily involved in prepping for and assisting in the execution of User Acceptance Testing which is planned to start the Fall of 2026 and continue through Spring 2027. This will include assisting our current BAs in developing test cases/scenarios, executing test scripts/scenarios and developing job aids to support testing.
Required Experience and Qualifications
- 3 or more years of experience as a Business Analyst supporting enterprise software implementations, preferably as part of a business unit.
- Experience with Agile implementations
- Effective Communication skills to collaborate with stakeholders and present findings
- Ability to document, manage, and analyze Business Requirements
- Ability to analyze complex issues, troubleshoot problems, and propose solutions.
- Proactive and detail-oriented mindset with strong problem-solving abilities
- Ability and interest to rapidly learn new software tools.
- Experience with Visio, MS Office, JIRA (or similar ticketing SW).
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field is preferred
Preferred Experience
- Experience in the pension or benefits industry.
- Experience developing SOPs and Training Materials.
- Experience with BI tools and SQL.
Length of Position
- This is a temporary role tied to CPF's PAS Implementation project which is planned to go live April 2027, with the option to extend to our second rollout in 2028.
Location
Conveniently located on the Red Line in Tenleytown. CPF will be relocating to downtown Washington, DC in Spring of 2026, also on the Red Line.
