What are the responsibilities and job description for the Telerecruiter- Must reside in Central Pennsylvania position at Central Pennsylvania Blood Bank?
Summary: Full Time 30 to 40 hours/week, flexible hours within these time frames: Monday- Thursday 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. , Fridays 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., Saturdays 9:00 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Position is remote after 1 month of in person training at our Hummelstown Office. Must be a resident of Central Pennsylvania.
Ensures that blood collection goals are met by telephone recruiting the appropriate donors to the fixed sites and mobile blood drive operations.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Calls potential blood donors and answers incoming calls.
- Telerecruits appropriate donors based on inventory needs. Calls potential donors and answers incoming calls by following script guidelines.
- Schedules appointment for donors.
- Meets individual and team goals to complete a minimum number of calls and appointments per hour.
- Builds rapport with donors through excellent customer service and the use of effective listening skills.
- Maintains accurate records. This includes computer data entry, appointment schedules, and other written records.
- Possesses a clear understanding of the donation process and donor deferral guidelines and procedures. Refers donor inquiries to appropriate personnel. Respects confidentiality regarding donor information.
- Completes other job related responsibilities as apparent or assigned.
- Organizes and prioritizes work each shift based upon guidance from department manager and from the site leader, ensuring goals are met within prescribed standards of quality.

Qualifications:
- Telemarketing or customer service experience preferred.
- High school graduate preferred.
Requirements:
- Required to regularly sit and talk and hear.
- Vision abilities required include close vision, color differentiation, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
- Continuous use of customer service, teamwork, and interpersonal skills. Must be able to read, write and speak English.
Working Conditions:
- Work is performed remote from home after 1 month of in person training.
