Job Details
General job duties include providing respiratory therapies for all ages, including newborn to geriatric patients.
Types of procedures required include mechanical ventilator management, arterial blood gas draws and analysis, emergent airway management, med neb delivery, EKG’s and other diagnostics.
Equipment utilized includes adult ventilator management, blood gas acquisition and analysis, non-invasive ventilation, EKG acquisition, bedside spirometry, aerosol therapy, and computer skills.
Job Requirements
Minimum 2 years recent respiratory experience including critical care with pediatrics.
Active CRT or RRT certification required.
Active BLS certification (must be AHA) required.
Active PALS certification required.
Schedule Information
12 hour shifts required.
This position floats into all areas of the facility to complete duties.
Unit Specific Information
Orientation to department lasts 2-3 days.
Additional Details

Experience with EKGs is required.
