POSITION SUMMARY: The Behavioral Health Director provides leadership, strategic direction, and clinical oversight for all behavioral health programs within CPH. This position is responsible for program development, operational management, regulatory compliance, quality improvement, and staff supervision. The Director assures quality and consistency of care for clients in all phases of inpatient care, discharge planning, care coordination, and chemical dependency treatment (including but not limited to hospital detoxification, assessment, treatment, discharge, and aftercare). The role ensures the delivery of evidence-based, patient-centered care while fostering an integrated approach to mental health and substance-use treatment, with an emphasis on clinical excellence, staff development, and collaboration across hospital departments and community partners.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Master's Degree in a related field
- 2 years of Behavioral Health experience
- 3 years of Supervisory experience
- State of Alaska Licensed Clinical Social Worker or Licensed Professional Counselor preferred.
- BLSP (CPR) from the American Heart Association
