This position involves learning how to set up and operate various machines in our Set-Up and Assembly Department. In this position, an individual would set up and operate a variety of machines as detailed below:
- Set up and run:
- Prism Cutter
- Small Bookcover
- Hand Wrapper without Stoke
- Metal Stayer and Hand Stayer
- Thumb Cutter
- Run:
- Hand Wrappers
- Semi-auto Wrappers
- Laminator
- Router V-Groover
- Be responsible for inspecting raw materials, and performing first article and in process inspections.
- Read and execute job tickets
- Must be able to perform these job requirements full-time, with frequent overtime hours when needed.
- Will be required to work and communicate well with others at all levels of the company.
- Will be accountable for attainment of production goals, maintaining housekeeping standards, and meeting quality standards
- Will adhere to all all company policies within the plant including safety, fire, GMP’s, and sanitation rules.
- Will be accountable for the safe operation of the machines as well as the safety of others on or around the machines.
