Warehouse Supervisor

GENERAL SUMMARY

The Warehouse Manager position supervises the receiving, housing, and distribution services for Central Oil.  They will manage a staff of warehouse techs and coordinate deliveries across both the lube and auto parts divisions of the company.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Supervises daily operations of the warehouse including product receiving, warehousing products, distribution of product, maintaining warehouse calendar
• Reviews the daily order tracking report per review process, communicates clearly with the sales and operations teams and resolve issues as they arise
• Creates daily truck routes for delivering product to customers
• Works closely with Operations MGR / DIR to ensure route efficiencies
• Maintains warehouse headcount by hiring, onboarding, and training employees
• Supervises warehouse staff; runs the daily stand-up meeting; and approves payroll and PTO while setting controls for overtime
• Maintains processes and procedures by coaching employees and completing yearly performance reviews as well as attending Operations Meetings
• Maintains physical condition of warehouse by planning and implementing design layouts; maintaining warehouse organization; inspecting equipment; issuing work orders for repairs and requisitions for equipment
• Ordering and inventorying warehouse supplies and packaging materials
• Assists purchasing analyst with excessive and obsolete inventory reduction efforts
• Ensure all safety procedures are followed daily and proper PPE is worn 
• Provide support for PTO for direct reports-As needed
• Creates and maintains Bill of Materials in operating system
• Conducts monthly inventory with Inventory Specialists; researches and resolves inventory issues as presented by the Director of Operations
• Maintains warehouse metrics for weekly operations staff meeting
• Reviews orders and provides quality control oversight. 
• Other duties and special projects as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS AND CHARACTERISTICS

• Requirements
  1. While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be required to work in cold temperature. This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, and climbing all day. This position may also be required to lift or move items up to 50 pounds.
