Pediatric Behavioral Health Clinician

Central Ohio Pediatric Behavioral Health was founded to close a gap in Central Ohio for truly specialized, evidence-based care for kids and teens dealing with anxiety, OCD, ADHD, feeding difficulties, and the mental health side of complex medical conditions. Nearly six years later, we've built a practice where clinicians can do deep, focused work in the areas they care most about — without sacrificing the support, consultation, and infrastructure that makes that work sustainable.

We're now looking to add an established pediatric behavioral health clinician to our team. We're ideally seeking someone doctoral-level, though a highly experienced master's-level clinician — LISW, LPCC, or equivalent licensure — with a well-developed specialty niche is absolutely a strong fit. What matters most is depth: we're looking for someone who has already invested in becoming excellent at something specific, whether that's OCD and ERP, chronic illness and medical coping, feeding disorders, anxiety, ADHD, or neurodevelopmental presentations. Clinicians who have built real expertise in one or more of these areas, and who want a practice that will support continued growth in it, are strongly encouraged to apply.

**What you'll be doing**

This is a full-time, on-site role in our Westerville office. Day to day, this includes conducting diagnostic interviews, behavioral health evaluations, and building individualized treatment plans for the kids and families on your caseload. You'll run individual and family therapy sessions, work directly with caregivers on behavior management strategies, and treat presentations across our core specialty areas — anxiety, OCD, sleep issues, toileting problems, ADHD, feeding disorders, and co-occurring medical and behavioral conditions.

A meaningful part of this work is coordination — collaborating with pediatricians, schools, and other providers to make sure care is aligned across the systems in a child's life. This role requires timely, accurate documentation and active participation in case consultation and team meetings, where clinicians regularly lean on each other's expertise. You'll also spend real time educating families: explaining what's being observed, why a given approach is recommended, and how caregivers can support their child's progress at home. Above all, every clinician on this team is expected to contribute to a clinical environment that is genuinely trauma-informed, inclusive, and welcoming — for families and for each other.

**What we're looking for**

* Clinical training and licensure — LISW, LPCC, PsyD, PhD, or equivalent — with eligibility to practice independently in Ohio.

* Real experience providing behavioral and mental health services to children, adolescents, and families, ideally in outpatient or pediatric settings.

* Solid grounding in evidence-based treatment for anxiety, OCD, ADHD, behavior problems, feeding disorders, or related pediatric conditions — with an established specialty niche.

* Strong diagnostic assessment, treatment planning, and documentation skills, including comfort working within an EHR.

* The ability to build genuine, culturally responsive relationships with kids, caregivers, schools, and medical providers.

* A real commitment to trauma-informed, ethical practice, and to protecting confidentiality and regulatory compliance.

* Excellent communication skills — the ability to explain clinical concepts to a worried parent in a way that actually lands.

* Willingness to work on-site in Westerville, carry a full-time caseload, and maintain reliable scheduling.

* Comfort with medically complex presentations and coordinating with pediatric specialists is a real plus.
