We are looking for someone who can build patient relationships, communicate effectively with team and patients, instill trust and accurately represent the Practice.

This is an in-person position.

Position Overview:

Objective
The Patient Services Representative plays a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our office by efficiently managing the schedule, patient accounts and insurance accounts, and providing exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will handle patient interactions, maintain accurate records, and help create a positive experience for each patient.

Responsibilities

  • Manage phones according to office standards
  • Manage texts and email according to office standards
  • Address patient inquiries and resolve issues as they arise.
  • Communicate effectively with both patients and office staff to ensure all information is clear and up-to-date.
  • Maintain a welcoming, positive atmosphere, ensuring patients feel at ease.
  • Verify insurance benefits for patients
  • Manage insurance delinquency to office standards
  • Assist Practice Manager in managing patient accounts

  • Attention to Detail: You must be able to manage multiple tasks accurately and efficiently.
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication abilities are essential.
  • Customer Service: A passion for delivering exceptional customer service is key to success in this role.
  • Organization: Ability to stay organized while managing various tasks.
  • Adaptability: Ability to multitask and shift priorities in a fast-paced environment. Time management skills are a MUST.
  • Problem Solving: You should be proactive in identifying issues and resolving them quickly.
  • Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with office software, scheduling systems, and orthodontic terminology is a plus.
  • Experience: Previous experience in an orthodontic office setting is preferred, however not required. We will train.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
