What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mental Health Clinician - Part Time position at Central Office?
Explorations Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) is hiring for a part-time Mental Health Clinician (Counselor/LPC or Social Worker/LCSW or Behavioral Analyst BCBA).
The part-time Mental Health Clinician (Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Licensed Professional Counselor, or Licensed Behavior Analyst) will provide early morning support to help students who exhibit chronic absenteeism and related school refusal/avoidant behaviors. They will be providing a variety of mental health interventions including individual therapy, behavioral support, and consultation services to students and their families in an effort to help the student attend school.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

The employee will be required to perform any other position-related duties requested by the supervisor
- Provide individual and/or family therapy, crisis support, consultation services, in the school and/or home setting to students and their parents/guardians.
- Implement treatment plans and educational programs developed by school teams.
- Consultation with families and school staff to best support the emotional, behavioral, and social needs of students.
QUALIFICATIONS:
To successfully perform this position, a person must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The qualification requirements listed below represent minimum levels of educational achievement, training, skill and/or ability necessary.
- Valid PA license in Counseling (LPC) or Social Work (LSW, LCSW) or Behavioral Analyst (BCBA) required
- Valid PA Certification in School Counseling K-12 or Home and School Visitor, preferred, but not required
- Experience with a public and non-public school population
- Current police, child abuse and FBI Fingerprint clearances required
- Valid PA Driver's License required
WORK SCHEDULE:
- Part-Time, 5 hours per week
- Typically between the hours of 6-8am
- This position requires travel
SALARY & BENEFITS:
- $50.00/hour
LOCATION:
Various locations throughout Montgomery County, PA. Travel is required.
