Position: Bus Driver ($2,000 sign-on bonus**)
Description: The position of Bus Driver, under the direction of the Transportation Supervisor, is responsible for the safe transportation of students of the Constantine Public School District.
Assignment/Responsibilities:
- Drive a school bus safely and professionally.
- Show proficiency in handling students.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
- Comply with all traffic ordinances.
- Attend training as required.
- Other duties as assigned by the Superintendent or his/her designee.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma
- Yearly DOT physical
- Current CDL license B with air brake and P & S endorsements
- Pass drug/alcohol test and criminal records check
- Maintain a good driving record
- School bus training as required by the State of Michigan
* Training will be provided paid by the district
**Sign-on bonus applies to drivers hired during the 2025/2026 school year only. Payment of the bonus will be made upon completion of a successful year of service.
