What are the responsibilities and job description for the 26-27 District Case Manager position at Central Office?
TITLE: CASE MANAGER
QUALIFICATIONS:
- A valid Mississippi (A) License in Special Education or a related field
- AA administrative license preferred
- Demonstrates the academic progress of students under his/her leadership and articulate the methods used to achieve those results
- Knowledge of data-driven instructional practices
- Experience with student progress monitoring related to Individualized Education Plans and Multi-tiered Systems of Support
- Experience in co-teaching settings
- Ability to work cooperatively and positively with parents/guardians
- Ability to work collaboratively
- Has knowledge of special education process
- Has knowledge and basic understanding of children with disabilities
- Have skills to document and report proceedings in compliance with special education regulations

REPORTS TO: Director of Exceptional Children
JOB GOAL: An individual appointed to ensure compliance with State and Federal regulations by ensuring the completion and accuracy of all aspects of the assessment, IEP Development, and placement process for a child referred for a comprehensive assessment
