The Speech Language Pathologist is a vital part of our Rehab Services team at Central Montana Medical Center, dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities and Duties:
- Assessment and Diagnosis: Conduct thorough assessments and diagnoses of speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders in patients of all ages.
- Treatment Planning and Implementation: Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's unique needs.
- Therapy and Evaluation: Provide evidence-based therapy to improve speech, language, and communication skills, and conduct regular evaluations to monitor patient progress and adjust treatment as needed.
- Documentation and Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient progress and treatment outcomes.
- Patient Education: Educate patients and their families about speech and language disorders, treatment options, and strategies for optimal recovery.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Clinical Expertise: Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology required; Certification of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) also required.
- Licensure and Certification: Currently licensed in the State of Montana; valid driver's license with clean driving record.
- Experience: Prefer experience in Home Health, Hospital, and/or Skilled Nursing settings.
