Job Summary:
As a Quality Inspector at Central Moloney, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and integrity of our finished products. You will be responsible for inspecting transformers and transformer components during the finishing process to ensure they meet our stringent quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform visual inspections of finished transformers and transformer components to ensure they meet quality standards.
- Compare inspections of finished transformers to customer drawings and customer specifications to ensure they meet quality standards
- Use measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges to verify dimensions and tolerances.
- Inspect surface finishes and coatings for defects, imperfections, or irregularities.
- Identify and document any non-conformities or deviations from quality standards.
- Communicate inspection results to production supervisors and quality control team members.
- Follow established inspection procedures and guidelines to maintain consistency and accuracy.
- Assist in troubleshooting and resolving quality issues as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Individuals in technical industrial trade programs are encouraged to apply.
- Proficiency in using measuring tools and equipment.
- 2 years minimal experience in quality control or inspection required.
- Strong attention to detail and keen observational skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Additional Information:
- Shift timing: Monday – Friday 3:30 pm – 12 AM, however, shift is subject to change per business needs.
- Some overtime and occasional weekends may be required pending business needs.
- Physical requirements nclude standing for extended periods and lifting to 50 pounds unassisted
