What are the responsibilities and job description for the Stone Shop CNC/Water-Jet Programmer position at Central Missouri Countertops?
ROLE PURPOSE
Programming for stone CNC’s and Water/Saw Jet using AlphaCAM, AutoCAD, and Stone Vision Software to keep the fabrication process on schedule.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Communicate with office, shop, and field personnel via phone and/or email.
- Prior manufacturing experience is helpful
- Demonstrable proficiency using AutoCAD, AlphaCAM, or similar design software
- Understanding of job flow
- A positive attitude and great work ethic
- Overtime is required but only as needed to meet customer demand during busy times of the year
- Ability to work independently
- Review and update information in Moraware job tracking software.
- Other duties as may be assigned from time to time
KNOWLEDGE SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- Associates degree in drafting/engineering is preferred
- Applied knowledge in general construction with the ability to read plans / drawings
- Good working knowledge of computers and typing skills.
- Professionalism and attention to detail
- A self-starter and quick learner.
- Experience in the stone countertop industry is preferred.
