Oral Surgery insurance coordinator

Overview
We are seeking a motivated and organized Dental billing specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our front office, providing exceptional customer service, and supporting our staff. This position is essential for maintaining effective communication and efficient workflow within the clinic. Experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Must have experience with insurance (verifying, estimating and filing) as well as billing(sending statements, collecting payments and working with collections) and coding.
• Manage phone systems, including answering calls, scheduling appointments, and responding to inquiries with professionalism and courtesy.
• Process patient information and insurance details while adhering to confidentiality regulations.
• Utilize coding for billing and documentation purposes.
• Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and maintaining office supplies.
• Ensure the front office area is organized and welcoming at all times.
• Collaborate with medical staff to facilitate smooth operations within the clinic.

Skills

• A background in a dental office setting is preferred.
