How You’ll Make An Impact
The Program Supervisor is responsible for supervising, guiding, and training Crisis staff and will also be responsible for assuring compliance with all rules and regulations related to residential crisis services. This position also serves as treatment director for crisis residential services. This position reports to the Clinical Supervisor.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED
Mental Health Practitioner (MHP) Qualifications
4,000 hours working with those with mental health, developmental disabilities, or chemical dependency diagnosis: which can be part- time for several years or 2 years full time.
Or
Holds a bachelor’s degree in behavioral sciences or related fields and completes a practicum or internship (2,000 hours) that (1) requires direct interaction with adults or children served, and (2) is focused on behavioral sciences or related fields.
Or
Holds a master’s degree or another graduate degree in behavioral sciences or related fields.

Ensure that the supervision requirements in the Crisis variance are provided:
- Meet with staff to provide feedback and other documentation as needed.
- Administratively supervises crisis staff teaching new skills when necessary, in coordination with the Residential Clinical Supervisor.
- Monitors and assists with referral and intake processes and ensures admission criteria are met for all approved admissions.
- Ensures each recipient will be provided with rehabilitative services that are medically necessary, using individualized treatment interventions that are based on the recipient’s assessed needs.
- Assist in the training and tracking of new employees regarding both policy and procedure and clinical application.
- Train staff on the Columbia suicide risk assessment, violence assessment, writing treatment plans, Individual Abuse Prevention Plans, and safety plans with clinical input from Clinical Supervisor.
- When required, facilitate team meetings.
- Manages day to day functions of the residential unit.
- Establishes and maintains effective rapport with all referrals, provider, and client sources.
- Ensures staffing requirements are met for residential services.
- Completes payroll tasks including approving including approving time off as well as time sheets.
- Assesses training needs of employees and communicates any employee corrective action to the program director.
- Provides input and completes annual performance reviews.
- Maintains policies and procedures and implements workflows for residential services.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED

- Knows and understand the rules and regulations associated with both mobile and residential services.
- Clear DHS background study.
- Valid Driver’s License and acceptable driving record.
- Crisis or Leadership experience preferred.
- Passion for Community Mental Health.
