The Shoreline Fire Department, serving the cities of Long Lake, Orono and Minnetonka Beach effective January 2026, is seeking a progressive, forward-thinking leader to serve as Deputy Chief - Training & Operations. This senior command position will provide executive leadership, direct department-wide training and operational programming, and serve as second-in-command to the Fire Chief. As our department’s first Deputy Chief, you’ll have a rare opportunity to play a pivotal role in building and shaping a modern, newly consolidated fire service organization valuing professionalism, operational excellence, innovation, and service before self.
Hiring Range: $97,000 - $120,000 DOQ
