Position Summary

Responsibilities
- Teach three courses in the fall 2025 semester: Introduction to Sculpture, Character Sculpture & Development, and Introduction to Digital Fabrication.
- Manage and maintain sculpture studio facilities and equipment.
- Assist in managing sculpture area budget with assistance from department chair.
- BFA in Sculpture, Studio Art, or equivalent.
- Ability to teach introductory level sculptural techniques (e.g. moldmaking, found object, wood fabrication, etc.).
- Ability to teach introductory level character sculpture techniques (e.g plasticene clay modeling w/armature).
- Ability to teach introductory level digital fabrication techniques (e.g laser cutter, 3D printing, CNC routing, CNC Plasma Cutting).
- Evidence of successful college teaching experience for a minimum of one-year, full-time (or the equivalent).
- Ability to perform the essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodation.
- MFA in Sculpture, Studio Art, or equivalent.
- Experience with studio management.
