What are the responsibilities and job description for the HomeBase Stabilization Supervisor position at Central Massachusetts Housing Alliance?
BASIC FUNCTION:
Responsible for supervising the Stabilization Case Management team to ensure the team is meeting all EOHLC contract requirements, provide supervision and work coordination for staff, monitoring client HMIS files and ensuring that all shelter families transition into housing are receiving appropriate service coordination. Working along with their team to coordinate and oversee the administering of Stabilization Plans, budgeting plans, leasing and program requirements, HMIS report completion and crisis intervention as necessary. Work closely with the Housing Specialist Supervisor to ensure that families identified for moving from shelter have met their Stabilization Case Manager and coordinated discussions of program requirements. Tracking the team to be sure that all housing application processes have been updated or changed according to the family’s new location or needs.
Complete and administer paperwork to EOHLC, the stabilization families, and internal administration within timelines of contracting requirements and/or as necessity arises. To work closely with Director of HB & Stabilization to be sure that all EOHLC stabilization case management contract requirements are being met in the required timely fashion. Be actively part of the on-call leadership rotation.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Provide supervision and support for the Stabilization Case Managers.
2. Interviewing and onboarding new/appropriate staff as needed.
3. Oversite of HMIS/ETO reporting system to be sure staff are completing all touchpoints and are done in a timely and appropriate manner.
4. Communicate and coordinate with Housing Specialist Supervisor of families transitioning to be sure exit plan/strategy needs are reviewed and coordinated, including introduction to the assigned on-going stabilization worker.
5. Complete thorough documentation of pertinent information/incidents occurring with any stabilization family to assure all safety measures are adhered to; discussing and relaying all required paperwork to Director.
6. Provide intervention in the event of a dispute or crisis with other tenants, landlords and/or representatives for the property which our family is residing. Notifying leadership team and proper authorities of any violence or threat to violence to the health and safety of our staff and/or family.
7. Work and assist the staff to identify another viable housing option for any family facing a health and safety risk/emergency.
8. Maintain reporting/tracking documentation accurately and timely.
9. Set an example for program families of responsibility and professionalism.
10. Interact with families in a respectful, supportive manner and encourage families to exercise good judgment while involved with our program.
11. Attend on and off-site case conferences, team meetings, meetings with EOHLC and other team leaders and/or area agencies/programs as needed.
12. Regular review of files to maintain all proper/required documentation is present and in an organized fashion.
13. Maintains organization of closed files upon exit and communication to Director for the final review and sign off for storage.
14. Ability to maintain a good working relationship with all co-workers and the general public and to use good judgment in recognizing scope of authority.
15. Be part of the on-call leadership team as assigned.
16. Such additional duties as may be assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Three years’ experience working in Human Services in a Supervisory position preferably in areas of homelessness and housing
- Knowledge and understanding of issues facing homeless families
- Success with appropriate involvement from outside agencies.
- Knowledge and experience in identifying client’s needs
- Bilingual Spanish/Haitian Creole/French preferred
- Strong ability to diffuse volatile situations
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, HMIS systems, and proficient typing skills
- A demonstrated ability to motivate, support, empower, and advocate without judgment
- Ability to work within a team
- A demonstrated ability to assess clients’ needs and assist with follow through of service delivery
- Ability to work professionally and effectively with community and EOHLC partners.
- Maintain strong professional demeanor and practice strong ethics in position.
- Ability to develop and learn new skills and prioritize work requirements.
Physical Requirements or Essential Abilities:
Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle required
CPR/First Aid Certification required
Ability to navigate stairs

Pay: $58,240.00 - $64,480.00 per year
