Part-Time Assistant Property ManagerWe are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Property Manager to join our team on a part-time basis. You will support the Owner and Regional Property Manager in overseeing daily operations across multiple properties types from single family homes to industrial buildings. This role offers flexibility and the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in property management while working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.Key ResponsibilitiesTenant RelationsAssist with marketing efforts, property showings, and lease processing.Support applicant screenings and verify financial documentation.Help onboard new tenants and provide ongoing assistance with lease terms and account inquiries.Respond promptly to tenant questions and coordinate with maintenance teams for timely issue resolution.Maintenance CoordinationCommunicate repair needs and assist in obtaining competitive bids.Ensure proper documentation for all maintenance work.Maintain vendor and contractor contact lists and assist with scheduling.Marketing & Property SupportPost listings on multiple platforms to attract qualified tenants.Monitor occupancy trends and report to the Regional Property Manager.Assist in identifying opportunities for property improvements.Accounting & AdministrationProcess rent payments and assist with accounts receivable tracking.Help maintain accurate financial records and prepare basic reports.Utilize property management software for data entry and tenant account updates.Compliance & Legal AwarenessStay informed about landlord-tenant laws and fair housing regulations.Ensure all tenant communications and notices comply with state and local requirements.Assist with proper documentation for lease agreements and eviction processes under supervision.QualificationsPrevious property management or administrative experience preferred.Strong communication and customer service skills.Highly organized with attention to detail.Proficiency in Microsoft Office and property management software is a plus.Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
