- Fellowship-trained Breast Surgical Oncology preferred
- Primary breast surgical oncologist for a large regional service area
- Newly constructed, state-of-the-art cancer center
- Established multidisciplinary cancer program
- Strong referral base and broad catchment area
- Opportunity to build and grow a high-volume practice
- Approximately 175 new breast cancer patients annually
- Current operative volume of approximately 275 surgical cases per year
- Robust support from an experienced multidisciplinary oncology team
- 3 Medical Oncologists
- 2 Radiation Oncologists
- Comprehensive Breast Imaging Department
- Approximately 15,000 mammograms annually
- Breast MRI available on-site
- 2 Plastic Surgeons
- Lymphedema-certified Physical and Occupational Therapists
- 2 Front Desk Coordinators
- 2 Medical Assistants
- Surgical Scheduler
- Clinic Nurse
- Nurse Navigator
- Office-Based Nurse Practitioner
- Per-Diem Physician Assistant for Surgical Assistance
- Same-day implant-based breast reconstruction
- Nuclear medicine support for lymph node biopsies
- Intraoperative specimen radiography
- Magnetic seed localization
- Ultrasound-guided localization
- Indocyanine green (ICG) perfusion mapping
Candidate Qualifications
- MD or DO
- Board Certified/Board Eligible in General Surgery
- Fellowship training in Breast Surgical Oncology preferred
- Eligible for medical licensure in Maine
