Description:
Armor Express is looking for Production Inspectors to join our team. The production inspector monitors the quality of incoming and outgoing products or materials. They are tasked with conducting tests, analyzing measurements, and overseeing production processes. This position consists of the following duties:
- Prevent nonconforming material from continuing through the process without proper approval
- Monitors the quality of incoming and outgoing products or materials for a company
- Conduct tests, analyze measurements, and oversee production processes
- Inspects to the requirements, design, and conformance of the specs (using trimmers, rulers, and templates)
- Write up any non-conforming items on final inspection documentation
- Return non-conforming items back for repairs
- Record daily individual production numbers
- Attain daily quotas, raise efficiency numbers
- Other duties assigned by management

Qualifications:
- Must be able to accurately read and use a ruler to 1/8th inch.
- Ability to adapt and work in a changing work environment.
- Ability to accurately follow detailed instructions and procedures.
- Proactive work habits.
- Strong communication skills.
- Must be able to work in both an independent and team environment.
- Availability to work overtime
Physical demands;
- Ability to communicate orally with others.
- Standing on hard surface for extended periods of time, moving between production areas.
- Hearing and vision within normal ranges is essential for safe conduct on the manufacturing floor and to meet job responsibilities.
- Able to perform basic mathematics calculations.
- Good manual dexterity to meet job responsibilities.
- Good reasoning ability is required to solve a wide range of problems.
- Occasional lifting up to 25 pounds.
- Pushing / pulling production carts.
Work Environment:
This job is indoors in a traditional manufacturing setting. Activities are primarily done while standing.

Salary : $13
