Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Private Property Tow Operator to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely towing, loading, and recovering vehicles from private properties while ensuring excellent customer service. Your expertise in vehicle mechanics, towing protocols, and conflict management will help maintain our reputation for dependable service and safety.
Duties
- Safely load and unload vehicles onto tow trucks using proper cargo securement protocols
- Operate flatbed and tow trucks with manual transmissions efficiently and safely
- Perform basic vehicle troubleshooting and minor mechanical repairs as needed
- Conduct automotive diagnostics to identify vehicle issues quickly and accurately
- Recover vehicles from private properties following established procedures
- Maintain accurate logs of all towing activities, including vehicle details and incident reports
- Provide exceptional customer service by communicating clearly with property owners and clients during towing operations
Requirements
- Proven experience with automotive repair, diagnostics, and mechanical knowledge for truck drivers
- Valid commercial driver’s license with experience in commercial truck driving and flatbed operations
- Knowledge of cargo securement protocols, vehicle mechanics for truck drivers, and safe vehicle loading techniques
- Strong conflict management skills to handle difficult situations professionally
- Ability to drive manual transmission trucks confidently and safely
- Familiarity with vehicle recovery towing and car towing procedures
- Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude toward clients and team members
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
