Croughnut Team Member (Part-time)
Salary: $15.00-$18.00 per hour (based on experience)
Thursdays and Fridays 12:00AM-9:00PM (Friday shifts will run later during May-October due to Farmers Market Season)
Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our Croughnut team. As a Croughnut Team member you will play a vital role in the production process of our croughnuts by helping prepare dough, frying, decorating, and packaging.
Responsibilities:
· Monitor proofing of dough to achieve perfect texture and height.
· Operate robot fryer and cook croughnuts to perfection, maintaining proper cooking times and temperatures.
· Creatively decorate and garnish croughnuts with glazes, toppings, and fillings.
· Collaborate with the team to develop and implement new and exciting croughnut flavors.
· Ensure that the croughnuts meet our bakery’s high standards for taste, appearance, and freshness.
· Package finished products in appropriate materials.
· Maintain a clean and organized workstation, following hygiene and safety protocols.
· Participate in periodic deep cleaning and maintenance of equipment.
Qualifications:
· Previous experience in baking, pastry, or culinary arts is preferred but not required.
· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing time effectively to meet production goals.
· Attention to detail and commitment to producing visually appealing and delicious products.
· Strong teamwork and communication skills, ensuring smooth collaboration with the Croughnut Team.
