We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Veterinary Assistant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in animal care, veterinary procedures, and clinic operations. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work alongside veterinary professionals in a fast-paced environment, supporting animal health and client satisfaction through skilled assistance and compassionate pet handling.

Experience

• Prior veterinary assistant experience in a clinical setting is required, with familiarity in veterinary terminology and procedures.
• Experience working with a variety of animals including dogs, cats, and small mammals.
• Knowledge of animal anatomy, physiology, and basic laboratory techniques enhances effectiveness in this role.
• Proven ability to handle animals safely using proper restraint techniques.
• Strong understanding of pet care practices including medication administration, animal restraint, and general animal husbandry.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients and team members in a professional manner.
• Demonstrated ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
