Compensation: Starting from $30/$35
Location: Le Center, MN FT/PT: PRN available
Job Overview:
We are looking for a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our team and assist in providing high-quality care to our patients. Under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, you will help patients improve mobility, manage pain, and recover from injuries in an assisted living setting. Your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting with therapeutic exercises and activities as directed by the Physical Therapist.
- Implementing and adjusting treatment plans based on patient progress.
- Monitoring and documenting patient outcomes, reporting changes to the Physical Therapist.
- Educating patients and families on proper exercises, techniques, and safety measures.
- Maintaining a clean and safe treatment environment, including the upkeep of equipment.
- Collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure effective, patient-centered care.
Requirements
- A current Physical Therapist Assistant / PTA license in the State of Minnesota.
- A valid Driver's License.
- Demonstrate the ability to work autonomously and effectively within a team environment.
- Previous experience in a healthcare or rehabilitation setting is preferred.
