Gro Tec is searching for an experienced Operations Support person for our Longmont, Colorado, location. This position requires qualified candidates to be safety conscious and able to perform required functions in a productive manner, working with tight schedules and deadlines.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Answer phones
• Must be able to organize shipping and receiving orders on time.
• Must have strong time management and communication skills.
• Ability to read and understand warehouse paperwork.
• Able to schedule freight pickup as well as prepare and print shipping labels.
• Able to code and match invoices for payment.
• Display appropriate work ethics in the workplace, which provides a positive influence on all workers and represents Gro Tec in a positive manner.
• Be flexible and be willing to perform other duties as assigned, as well as maintain good housekeeping and a clean work area.
• Be able to work in a constant state of alertness and a safe manner.

QUALIFICATIONS/MINIMUM EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION

• High school graduate.
• Strong computer skills using Microsoft Office – SAP helpful but not required.
• Basic math skills required.
• Demonstrate the ability to communicate effectively with co-workers and customers/
• Must work well with others and demonstrate organizational skills to operate a busy office.

WORKING CONDITIONS

• Full-time position requiring employees to function in a busy warehouse office environment.
• Must be able to bend over, reach with hands and arms, as well as lift 5 to 25 pounds at times.
• Gro Tec is a producer of consumer-grade fertilizers, pesticides, and herbicides. The fertilizer operation consists of mechanically mixing raw materials into blended batches of consumer-grade fertilizer. Operations are heavily seasonal, with the spring season being the heaviest, beginning in December and January and then peaking in June.
