Are you an energetic, self-starter interested in the ever-growing industries of Accounting, Marketing, Engineering, Human Resources, Supply Chain and so many more? Our Dog & Cat Business Unit supporting Nylabone, Four Paws, and Cadet brands is seeking driven paid interns to join our team throughout the year! We offer both part-time and full-time internships and flexibility to accommodate your school schedule.
Each intern will be able to gain experience in the department that best suits them based on the college degree they are pursuing. They will gain experience and knowledge and develop strong communication skills by working in our team-based environment. All our interns will be assigned projects and tasks specific to their department. These assignments are designed to further develop core competencies and broaden experience. Individuals will also develop strong critical thinking and time management skills.
The ideal candidates will be result-driven and able to prioritize and manage numerous projects and tasks. Individuals should be able to work both independently and collaboratively with all levels of their department in an effective manner. - Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Understanding of Microsoft tools including MS Word, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint.
- Basic understanding of Microsoft tools.
- Strong critical thinking skills.
- Ability to work in a collaborative, team-based environment and develop relationships across all departments.
- Ability to manage and prioritize numerous projects and accept guidance from multiple project sponsors at once.
- Students who are legally authorized to work in the United States, without the need for current work status authorization or visa sponsorship for employment.
- Employment is contingent upon the successful completion of drug and background screening.
Working Conditions:
- Must be comfortable reporting on-site to our Neptune City, NJ facility or Monroe, NJ facility, depending on where the position is located.
