Central Florida Vein & Vascular Center is seeking an exceptional Registered Vascular Ultrasound Technologist with vascular/ venous experience and RVT or RVS certification to join our team.
Since 1993, our experienced team of Board Certified Fellowship Trained Vascular Surgeons is providing patients of all ages with the most advanced, minimally invasive treatments for varicose veins, spider veins, leg pain, leg wounds and swelling, as well as many other painful and unsightly conditions caused from the effects of a venous insufficiency. Central Florida Vein and Vascular Center offers convenience with safe, minimally invasive procedures conducted through an outpatient, office-based setting, followed by a shortened recovery period. Our treatment approach typically combines two office-based procedures, Endovenous Laser Ablation and Ultrasound Guided Foam Sclerotherapy, to provide management of leg swelling and problematic veins of any size. These procedures require no incisions to heal, require minimal downtime and are highly successful when performed by a trained Phlebologist.
We are a patient centered, boutique practice with 4 office locations: Ocoee, Oviedo, Kissimmee and The Villages. Patient satisfaction is the cornerstone of our practice achieved through personal attention to our patient needs. The care we provide is very personalized and as such an affable personality and positive attitude are essential for the successful applicant. The selected applicant would be responsible for a busy vascular laboratory schedule as well as provide ultrasound guidance during procedures. Training would be provided but prior experience and RVT certification is a must.
Ultrasound Technologist Responsibilities:
- Aid physician with diagnosis of vascular disorders - conduct ultrasound examinations for evidence of peripheral vascular disease - primary focus venous insufficiency
- Assist physician with ultrasound guidance during vein treatment procedures ( EVLT, RF, Venaseal, Varithena and UGS )
- Maintain all test records on PACS system
Ultrasound Technologist Requirements: Must have proven vascular Ultrasound Technologist experience with emphasis on superficial venous incompetence with detailed mapping Must hold ARDMS (RVT) or CCI (RVS) certification.
- Must know Phlebology ultrasound
- Must follow ACR guidelines
- Ability to handle a busy vascular lab schedule
- Willing to travel in between offices when scheduled (Ocoee, Kissimmee and the Villages).
