Position Overview
We are seeking a dependable HVAC Sheet Metal Fabrication Technician to assist in the fabrication and assembly of HVAC ductwork and metal components. This is a hands-on role working in a shop environment using tools and machinery to cut, shape, and assemble sheet metal products.
Key Responsibilities
Fabricate HVAC ductwork and sheet metal components to specifications
Measure, mark, cut, and bend sheet metal using hand tools and shop equipment
Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and work orders
Operate fabrication equipment (shears, brakes, rollers, etc.)
Assemble and fasten metal components using appropriate techniques (riveting, welding, fastening)
Inspect finished products to ensure quality and accuracy
Maintain a clean and organized work environment
Follow all safety procedures and company standards
Qualifications
Previous experience in sheet metal fabrication or HVAC (preferred but not required)
Ability to read tape measures and basic blueprints
Comfortable using hand tools and power tools
Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship
Ability to lift 50 lbs and work on your feet throughout the day
Reliable transportation and strong work ethic
Preferred Skills (Not Required)
Experience with HVAC duct fabrication
Familiarity with shop equipment (Pittsburgh machine, brake, shear, etc.)
Welding or metalworking experience
