Responsibilities
- Operate cremation machinery safely and efficiently, ensuring proper procedures are followed for each pet.
- Assist with the preparation and processing of pets for cremation, including handling remains with care and respect.
- Perform heavy lifting of pets and shipments.
- Maintain detailed records of each cremation process, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company standards. Must have good hand writing abilities.
- Conduct routine inspections of crematory equipment to ensure optimal functioning and safety.
- Follow all safety protocols and environmental regulations to maintain a clean, safe, and respectful work environment.
- Must have vehicle for pet pick ups routinely from businesses and homes.
Experience
- Prior mechanical knowledge or experience working with industrial or cremation equipment is desirable.
- Physical ability to perform heavy lifting regularly as part of daily tasks.
- Experience in handling sensitive situations with compassion, preferably within funeral services or pet care industries.
- Knowledge of safety procedures related to operating heavy machinery and industrial equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills for recordkeeping and process management.

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
