Hospitalist – Full-Time
Block Schedule: 7 on / 7 off | 8 AM – 6 PM

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Hospitalist (MD/DO) to join our team. The Hospitalist will provide high-quality inpatient clinical care at our affiliated hospitals and support surgical and specialty teams through consultative internal medicine practice.
Primary Responsibilities
Perform comprehensive assessments, histories, and physical examinations for patients in acute care.
Manage patient conditions, including diagnosis, treatment, and daily care.
Attend and participate in multi-disciplinary rounds.
Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic studies and lab tests.
Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures (e.g., suturing, wound care, incision/drainage, splinting).
Prescribe pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic therapies, including controlled substances.
Collaborate with consulting physicians and specialty services.
Refer patients to appropriate providers or facilities as needed.
Support clinical pathway implementation and ensure efficient resource utilization.
Coordinate timely transfers to tertiary facilities when indicated.
Qualifications
MD or DO degree.
Completion of residency in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.
Board Certified or Board Eligible (IM or FM).
Active and unrestricted Florida medical license (or eligibility).
DEA license (active or eligible).
