Optometric Lab Technician & Optical Assistant
Join our dedicated eye care team and help make a difference in people’s lives! We’re looking for a motivated Optometric Lab Technician / Optical Assistant to join our growing team!
Responsibilities Include:
- Maintain and calibrate lab equipment
- Accurately edge and fit lenses into frames
- Inspect finished eyewear for quality and accuracy
- Assist with inventory of lenses, frames, and lab supplies
- Reconcile monthly statements
- Assist patients with frame selection
- Educate patients on lens options and insurance benefits
- Process orders and bill vision plans
Qualifications:
- We are willing to train the right candidate (Pay rate will be determined based on prior experience and qualifications. Licensed Opticians are welcome to apply)
- Strong attention to detail and technical skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to multitask and thrive in a team environment
- Eagerness to learn and be part of a close knit team of co-workers
